Before & After Renovation Photos (the following photos were taken from the same view point)
Before This was a poorly planned entrance/stairwell and was very unattractive.
After The space is now a main floor laundry room adding value to the home. It was completely gutted, the stairway was closed off, the room was drywalled, an entryway closet was added (not seen in this picture), and a lot of storage space.
Before The paneled walls, dark closet, and carpeted floors made the room feel very small.
After The room was drywalled, the closet relocated to another wall, painted and new flooring added.
Before One word--Yikes! Very tight quarters.
After The toilet and sink were placed on an angle, and faux paneling was added to help visually widen and create a feeling of more space in this small, narrow bathroom.
Before The homes floor plan was a cottage style plan (very open-concept).
After The wall added on the left, enlarged the bedroom and gave privacy for the bathroom. The wall on the right created a bedroom out of a old dated kitchen.
Before The old carpeting and wall paneling was removed, but the archs leading to the "future" kitchen was dated, and there was a small step down into the room.
After Windows were salvaged from other rooms in the home, a patio door added, the floor was leveled out, the archway was changed into a halfwall, drywalled and new floor installed.
