What is home staging?
Generally, home staging prepares a house for sale, by creating an inviting atmosphere, which appeals to it's targeted buyers.
How much will it cost to stage my house?
That depends on a few factors. For instance, the size of your house, what services you are looking for, and how much work needs to be done to the home. We have many services available, we can help you find one that fits your needs and budget. Visit our Pricing page for more details or feel free to contact us.
When should I stage my house?
Ideally, you should have your home staged before you place it on the market. We want all of the potential buyers to see your home looking its best. If the buyer did not like the home on the first viewing, it is very difficult to draw them back for a second viewing.
My home is on the market already. Is it to late to stage it?
Absolutely not, remember the saying, “It is never too late." Yes, it is best to stage your house before putting it on the market, and ensuring all buyers have a excellent first impressions. But, you can make future buyers first impressions positive. Please, do not put off this decision. Speak to your REALTOR® or some one in the Real Estate industry. Contact us, we can discuss it further.
Why can’t buyers use their imagination?
We all decorate our homes for ourselves. But, if you truly want to sell your home quickly and for top dollar, you need to decorate for the buyers. Most buyers find it difficult to use their imagination and change the decor to there own style. That is why it is so important to use a home stager. We will help you make the changes in your home to give you the largest return on your home staging investment.
Why should I stage? It will sell eventually.
It may sell, but how long will it take, and at what price. Staging your home usually cost less than a price reduction. Usually, price reductions start at increments of $5,000 or 10,000 dollars.
What is the difference between an decorator and a stager?
An interior decorator, decorates your home for you, for your use. A home stager decorates your home for your homes future buyer. Decorators usually purchase new furniture and accessories. Stagers use your existing furniture and accessories, or if needed they can be rented. Decorators are usually given a larger budget than a home stager. Our goal, at ALLDECOR Home Staging, is to give you the largest return on your investment.
